Subway in Heidelberg

Extreme waiting times - the pick-up service when ordering and paying on the Internet does not work because of too few and overwhelmed employees, in any case there is no time advantage. At peak times you have to add about 1 hour to the desired pick-up time !! In addition, the specified wishes are not correct, i.e. you get a different type of bread, etc. than you ordered. Then it is better to invest a few euros more at the burger shop around the corner or have it delivered, if it doesn't matter WHEN the order finally arrives.

This is where you can find sandwiches in the late hours (until 10pm) and on public holidays in Banstadt. When you get the app, there is a discount menu for each day of the week, so be sure to take it with you. Friendly staff.

Anyone who knows the Subway chain knows in principle what to expect. This is a new branch in the Heidelberg-Bahnstadt development area. Everything is new and bright. Entrance at ground level. Ideal for all sandwich friends who are in the area.

The food at Subway tastes good. This subway is small but new.

First visit: small shop, tidy, clean. The digital menu above the counter changes and does not make choosing easier for the inexperienced. The tour of the starving customer through the shop and then walking along the counter from the back of the shop to order is great. The counter is clear and clean, the ingredients bowls were still well filled or refilled when I visited after the lunch rush hour on a Saturday, so that the order was processed quickly and cleanly. However, in a rough overview it looks like a lack of space. The "new" toppings are all there (carrots, corn, spinach, rocket, ...). The bread wasn't to my taste, I'm used to "fluffier" things from my subway visits, and the topping was also irregular for a cheese oregano and unusually creative. The topping was fresh and good. There was only a small cup for the menu, the beverage dispenser looks like it was from the 90s, which of course does not limit its function :) The four remaining types of cookies were all not perfectly baked and partly raw inside. The Double Chocolate looked as if someone had accidentally wanted to put a stamp on it with a finger during or before baking, that is to say, pressed deeply on one side. The ladies behind the counter were organized and friendly. Card payment ran smoothly. Parking spaces are rare there, but there is a multi-storey car park within walking distance.

Mega friendly and helpful! Not taken for granted nowadays. With pleasure again. Honor shop!

Been there twice, both times nice staff, but the bread too crispy and partly burnt and the salad was brown both times. The Bahnstadt subway is not recommended.

Finally another subway near Pfaffengrund. Parking spaces are also available. We're glad
